If you turn on the radio in Italy, chances are good that you'll hear the work of Paolo Costa, one of the country's most versatile bassists.

Paolo Costa was born in Milan in 1964 and started playing bass when he was 16. Since then he's become one of the most important Italian bassists, working with many singers and bands, including Claudio Baglioni, Franco Battiato, Renato Zero, Francesco Renga, Luca Jurman, Ivano Fossati, Miguel Bosè, Alessandro Safina, Biba Band and many others.
