The Big Mama Jama Jam-a-thon is an open improvisational music/art event where the music doesn’t stop for 52 hours.
100% of the profits will go towards raising funds and awareness for Extraordinary Families, a leading nonprofit foster family, adoption agency in the Los Angeles area, dedicated to improving the daily lives of children and youths in foster care.
The event will be held from 28 to 30 September at Musician's Institute's brand new "LIVE HOUSE" located at 1534 N Highland Ave, right in the heart of Hollywood.
Mohini Dey will play with Steve Vai,Jeremy Colson, Vernon Reid and Brett Tuggle this upcoming Saturday, September 29th (4pm-8pm).
Jeff Berlin is also scheduled to play on Saturday, from 8 to 9, with Chad Wackerman on drums, Vernon Reid and Steve Vai on guitars.
