Michael Manring and Finaz - Italian Tour.

Feb. 14, 2019, 4:06 p.m.

Don't miss the opportunity to see these two great internationally renowned artists: Michael Manring, "the hottest bassist today" as defined by many journalists and Alessandro Finazzo, aka Finaz (co-founder, co-author and "virtuoso and solitary guitar" of Bandabardò)!

Hailed by many as the world's leading solo bassist, Michael Manring has been pushing back the boundaries of what's possible on the bass guitar for over two decades. While Michael's technical skill and innovations always make an impression, it's his ability to communicate on a profound emotional level that most touches listeners. His latest CD Soliloquy is a clear demonstration of how a single electric bass in the hands of a genius of contemporary music can explore innovative sounds while maintaining exciting melodies and harmonies at the same time.

From years Finaz has been recognized as reference for Italian acoustic guitar players, with its very own 'rock & folk' style. In addition to Bandabardò, he has collaborated in studio and live with artists such as Carmen Consoli, Max Gazzé, Paola Turci, Goran Bregovic, Piero Pelù, Modena City Ramblers, Caparezza and many others. In 2012 he released his first solo work "Guitar Solo", entirely made with acoustic guitar and plenty of ideas and instrument avant-garde solutions and research.

Opening and interacts with the two artists the American songwriter-guitarist Jackie Perkins, a very talented artist with a wonderful voice, which will present some songs of her upcoming CD.
