The Electric Nomads, after four years of hard touring under the name the Nomads, took a writing break and now they’re back with an entirely new show featuring their signature tradition-defying electric jazz that’s wired for funk.
The Electric Nomads include Grammy nominated and Denmark’s knighted Chris Minh Doky, a master of upright and electric bass, Dean Brown/guitar, who with his unique sound has distinguished himself as one of the most funky guitarists of today, George Whitty/keyboards shows why he is a Grammy winnng producer and the phenomenal award winning internationally known drummer, Dave Weckl.
Since 2013 Doky has also collaborated with Twyla Tharp and the Royal Danish Ballet with 'Come Fly Away’ which enjoyed consistently sold out shows throughout every run each year. And ‘Royal Copenhagen’ has recognized Doky’s cultural impact by making him the face of their prestigious brand.
Doky, Weckl, Brown and Whitty together create an all star jazz band wired for funk.
