Angelo Roman is a really phenomenal young bassist from South Africa, he was only 14 years old when joined our Rising Stars family but with such a talent it was not difficult to predict for him the brightest future ahead on the international music scene.
Angelo started playing bass following in his father Rixi footsteps, an amazing bass player too. Angelo, when was younger, used to go with him to his shows and he really loved the sound of bass. Then he met an amazing bass player “Victor Wooten” and Angelo was mesmerized by what he was doing on the bass, and he started transcribing his songs. He has played with South African artists such as Joseph Clark, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Anais and he was the bass player for the 942 band which comes from the famous South African radio station Jacaranda fm.
“Basically, I have been playing bass all my life and I have been always playing Markbass Amps, –says Angelo– and I’d love to play them forever.”
